For those wondering what happened to the January UXnet social meeting in London
I’d like to apologize to everyone who showed up at Lab in Soho last night for the UXnet January social meeting. Unbeknownst to me, Lab has been under renovation since 9 January, so I was just as surprised as you were upon arrival. Thankfully, with the help of Cafe Boheme next door and several UXnet community members, we found a friendly alternative just around the corner at The Spice of Life. I put up a sign on Lab’s window, but everyone may not have seen it.
Even with the last minute move we had a decent turn out, which included many community members, some old friends from UCL, several other Framfab IAs and Peter Merholz, all the way from San Francisco.
Thanks to everyone who came despite the venue issues. And keep your eyes open for the UXnet social meeting in February. The bar will be open next time: I promise.
