Feng Shui for Web Designers
Internet Feng Shui is a design philosophy that I can appreciate:
I thought I’d see what feng shui could tell us about creating appealing and harmonious websites. If the Chinese have found these to be decent design principles for the last 5,000 years, we should at least give them a go.
However, contrary to the author’s opinion, just because Flash encourages curvy images, I’m not sure it’s blessed with positive ch’i.
Can anyone provide some good examples of Feng Shui on the Web?

“Make sure it has an appealing entrance area - the ‘splash’ screen and main menu page”
yikes…why won’t splash screens just die.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the point about the splash screens. Just ignore that part of the article! Well, it was written in September 1999 so we can’t hold him fully to blame. Everyone was doing the splash screen thing back then.

david gauntlett?
leave it to some white guy to think he knows what ‘feng shui’ means after reading a book called ‘feng shui for beginners’.
I agree with the advocacy of minimalism in general, although more for aethetics and usability than any kind of spiritual harmony.
