apple.com/switch
After lots and lots of reading, late last week I started thinking seriously about moving to Mac.
Today, Apple opened up a new tab on their site, apple.com/switch which provides even more resources for switching. Coincidence? Or does it all have a higher meaning?

You won’t miss Windoze at all. The Mac is rock solid now. I have crashed only twice in 1 year. And the OS is just beautiful compared to XP, not only because of it’s interface and core, but because it’s cheaper!
And there are multiple thousands of apps out there for the Mac that do ALL kinds of things. I’ve got over 130 apps on my Mac and I use all of them at some point.
I hope you do switch to Mac. You won’t regret it at all.

I’ve been looking at the iBooks but there have been some rumors that there’s going to be a speed bump soon. However, Dave Russell recently downplayed those rumors. Is a new iBook worth waiting for?

I would imagine that the big announcement during MWNY will be the new desktop systems. They may slip in some upgrades to the iBook and possibly the iMac as well.
Your best bet would be to wait until after MWNY, just to be safe. If Apple has updated the iBook, then you’re a happy camper with a faster iBook. If he doesn’t, then you’re still a happy camper because you know your iBook will still be top-of-the-line several months down the road.
