Notes on Visual and Interactive Design
valcasey.com presents Notes on Visual and Interactive Design, a mixed list of design principles. For the nondesigner like me, there’s too much here to take in all at once. Note to self: read a section and then take some time to think about it. Come back for the rest later. It will still be there. (via ia/)

I’d have to agree that the text is a too small. If you’re going to present design notes, you should at least try to make it a bit more readable than that! Fortunately, the fonts aren’t sized absolutely (like those on my site!), and you can enlarge them by simply increasing the text size in your browser. In both IE and Netscape you can change the text size from the View menu. Hope that helps. Another note to self: use relatively sized fonts!

I dunno, Joshua — that type is so small I didn’t want to read the page, and since the page is about Visual Design, I figured nothing in it was worth the effort since the design of the page turned me off. I’m sure there’s good stuff there, but that’s the reason to do a good design in the first place. Right? IMHO, anyway.
That seems harsh, but…it’s the truth.
